Terms of use

Coach Drépano is for people living with a chronic condition, their relatives and their care team. These terms of use set the rules for using the app.

  1. You confirm that you have read these terms of use. You accept them when you install the app and you are bound by them towards Coach Drépano.
  2. You confirm that you are of legal age and capable of judgement. If you are not, your legal representative has given consent.
  3. You agree to use the app only for the purposes described in article 4 and not for any unlawful purpose.
  4. The features covered by these terms are all the features of the app: daily tracking (journal, mood, water, treatments, reminders), the care and emergency card, guided crisis and the alert to your relatives, management of your medicines and prescriptions, your care network (your professionals, services and relatives, with their contact details and your next appointment), your medical record, exchanges with your care team, Trévor (the chatbot), therapeutic education, challenges, the watch and the crisis risk estimate.
  5. Trévor is an artificial intelligence assistant. Its answers may contain errors: check important information with your care team. The experimental features (watch signals, crisis risk estimate) are at the research stage and are shown for guidance only. A low score never rules out a crisis. If your pain rises, if you have a fever (38.3 °C or more) or if you are short of breath, contact your care team or call 144.
  6. Some features may be unavailable temporarily or permanently, depending on circumstances, your location or your profile.
  7. Coach Drépano never replaces exchanges with your care team. In a life-threatening emergency, call 144 immediately.
  8. Coach Drépano uses all reasonable means to provide quality access to the app at all times, without being able to guarantee that access, in particular in case of network or server failure or any other event beyond its control.
  9. Coach Drépano does not control the content of external resources that may be linked to the app. Coach Drépano is not responsible for their availability, content, accuracy or privacy practices.
  10. Coach Drépano may interrupt, suspend or change access to the app, temporarily and without notice, in particular for maintenance or improvement of the app.
  11. The app, its software design and its content (texts, graphics, images and sounds) are protected by copyright. Coach Drépano and the rights holders keep all of these rights. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to install one copy of the app on your device and run it for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use requires the written agreement of the rights holders.
  12. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, COACH DRÉPANO EXCLUDES ALL LIABILITY for damage related to the use of the app, except in case of intent or gross negligence.
  13. Coach Drépano reserves the right to change these terms. Changes apply as soon as you install the app update. When the text changes, it is shown to you again.
  14. Any dispute related to the app falls under the courts of Geneva, Switzerland, and Swiss law applies, subject to the mandatory provisions of the law in favour of consumers.
